How can you, as the designer, use principles of design to help compose a page? I can use the principles of design to help compose a page by using the different types of principles to design a page.

What are the principles of design (define each in your own words)? 

Balance- is the concept of visual equilibrium.
Gradation- the color form of going from warm to cool colors.
Repetition- not repeating any patterns that you have used in the same design.
Harmony- the visually satisfying effect of and image or design.
Dominance- gives that design interest.
Unity- when all the of images of the design come together.
